Principle for power saving
The ESD lighting power saver implements the power saving function by adopting the wave-form modulation technology, which drops the lighting device's RMS power while remain the peak voltage unchanged, In this way, the input power would be considered the same as the power before modulation. The greater the"Gap"is, the more power it can save. The value of the "Gap"can be adjusted by the potentionmeter. The power saving rate can be up to 50% without noticing the change of the illumination intensity. The following diagram describes the basis mechanism of the ESD. The unique control software can make the ESD monitor and modulate the AC sine-wave continuously and drop the energy loss without decreasing the peak voltage. In addition, it can balance the power distribution after modulation, and eliminate the flicker.
